Steering Committee
What does it do?
The Steering Committee functions similar to a board of directors. They provide overall support, vision, and guidance to the Collaborative. They help guide all aspects of the Collaborative, including steering and sustaining the partnership and coordinating with workgroups. When applicable, they assist with outreach to decision makers. Roles
Steering the Partnership: Provide overall support, vision, and guidance to the Collaborative, including helping guide and inform the host partner to best support the Collaborative.
Sustainability: Develop long-term objectives and short-term strategies to sustain the Collaborative.
Outreach to Decision Makers: Review, approve, and provide support for campaigns to educate decision makers about land conservation, conservation practices, and source water protection.
Coordinating with Workgroups: Ensure coordination and communication between the Workgroups and Steering Committee.
